201 Woolverton Street, Trenton, NJ
Commercial Office Building - 56,000 sq. ft.

201 Woolverton Street is a commercial office building owned by Nexus Properties. In 2008, Nexus engaged GSH Group to tackle the problem of energy waste.

Over the past 2-1/2 years, the GSH team has worked hard to reduce the building’s energy consumption. It is an ongoing effort, as the GSH team is still closely monitoring the new building management system that they installed as part of the project.

The project consists of the implementation of multiple energy conservation measures and ongoing energy management. Energy conservation measures included the installation of an Andover Building Management System, the replacement of four Carrier package units, the replacement of a cooling tower, and the upgrade of the lighting system from a T-12 to a T-8 retrofit.

As a result of these energy conservation measures, the team has reduced its electricity use by over 50%.
